Lives Lost
America dropped the atomic bomb in Japan to save and estimated 1 million lives. The cost wasan estimated 225,000 in both Nagasaki and Hiroshima lives. Innocent lives. Civilians lives. If they weren't obliterated buy the actual drop and impact of the bomb, then they slowly perished and agony
due to the radiation poisoning and server burns. As if this wasn't enough, the two cities bombed had the highest population of Catholics. People who believed that all lives are equal and were probably less been on the idea of the war. These Christian believes differed greatly from the polytheist, atheistic ones there government and society endorsed. it may have also helped save Japanese lives a swell considering that Japan, if reduced to ground war. would fight a bloody war of attrition. However, the manner in which those lives at Hiroshima and Nagasaki were taken, dose not make this acceptable.
